Discover the transformative power of Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) with me,

Susan Cachay.

With my extensive experience and unique approach, my course offers deep insights into HTMA and Mineral-Nutritional Balancing.

I am an experienced educator, psychology counsellor, and holistic nutritionist specializing in Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) and Mineral-Nutritional Balancing.

With over 15 years of experience and a significant background working with Larry Wilson, M.D., I have a deep understanding of HTMA. I’ve reviewed thousands of HTMA charts and coached over 100 practitioners, many of whom initially struggled with interpreting HTMA results and developing recommendations.

Noticing a gap in HTMA training, I offer a comprehensive course designed to build a solid foundation in the science and application of HTMA.

Learn to interpret HTMA charts confidently, develop effective Mineral-Nutritional Balancing programs, and communicate with your clients effectively. Enhance your skills and take your practice to the next level.

Mineral-Nutritional Balancing is a comprehensive, precise, and elegant approach to healing.

It’s the brainchild of Dr. Paul Eck (D.N.), who spent 35 years doing mineral and biochemical research in the areas of nutrition and biochemistry. Mineral-Nutritional Balancing is based on Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis—a non-invasive, extremely accurate, and relatively inexpensive screening test that shows the levels of 15 minerals and 6 toxic metals. It gives a nuanced picture of metabolic trends, stress patterns, and how different body systems are functioning. This removes the guesswork, and enables a practitioner to make personalized dietary and supplement recommendations.

Why use Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis?

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is a roadmap that gives us the information we need to gradually and positively change the “terrain” of the body.

Minerals (such as magnesium and zinc) are sometimes called the ‘spark plugs’ of the body. That’s because they are needed by millions of enzymes as co-factors, facilitators, inhibitors and as part of the enzymes themselves.

Certain metals (such as aluminum and mercury) are considered toxic because they can be irritating, especially at higher concentrations.

Just like with all other body tissues, minerals are deposited into our hair. Although our hair isn’t considered to be alive once it’s outside of our scalp, the minerals remain. The accuracy of the test is maintained by using a sample of hair cut close to the scalp.

Mineral Balancing Wheel

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is considered a standard test and is used around the world for the monitoring of trace elements and toxic metals in humans and animals. The same technology is used for soil testing and testing of rock samples to detect mineral levels.

What does Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis tell you?

The result of a Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is like a snapshot of your biochemistry. It reveals:

  • mineral deficiencies and imbalances
  • heavy metal toxicity
  • adrenal and thyroid gland functioning (this influences your energy level)
  • autonomic nervous system imbalances
  • sugar and carbohydrate tolerance at a cellular level
  • mental and/or emotional stress patterns
  • what stage of stress you’re in
  • metabolic trends (metabolism)
  • oxidation rate
  • about your overall vitality and energy in the body as they relate to your immune system
  • trends for various health conditions

When common physical, mental and emotional health conditions are viewed through the lens of a Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, practitioners and clients have a better understanding of the causes and, more importantly, how to heal.
